The sort was gained as a result of cross pollination of the Bastardo of Magarac and Saperavi clones in All-Union Scientific Research Winegrowing and Winemaking Institute (Yalta) and recommended to be grown in the Crimea and in south of Ukraine.
Bushes grow with medium rapid but strong. Have self-pollinating flowers.
Cluster is medium, cylindrical cone shaped or cone shaped, medium dense. Seeds are medium or little, oval or egg shaped; dark blue, wax layer is thick. Skin is gentle not firm. Languid is slippery, juicy. Taste is ordinary, sweet. Juice is transparent. It is middle ripening wine sort.
Its productivity is more than Bastardo and Saperavi clones in Maaac. Productivity is 120-150 centners from hectare; medium weight of every cluster is 150-200 gram. Sugar level is 26-29 percent if seeds are fully ripen.
It is useful for high qualitative dessert and strong wines.
The wines produced in south and lowland Crimea are not less productive than high qualitative wines and less productive Bastardo.
