GULABI OF DAGHESTAN

It is late ripening table wine sort of Daghestan. Widely spread in Daghestan, Chechnya and Ingushetiya. According to the information given by A.M.Negrul, the Gulabi of Daghestan is the bud mutation of White Gulabi. Bushes grow rapidly. Demands medium size fruitful spurs. Bushes have longer life and productivity if formed as a fan with long arms. Flowers get pollinated by themselves. Cluster is medium large and large. The stalk of the cluster remains like grass when the seeds are fully ripen, but the part that is joined to the shoot is ripen about 1 centimeters.
Seeds are medium large and round. Some seeds are inclined to flatness. The color is mostly pink, but there is light purple color in the pink background in some seeds. The percentage of sugar is 18-20.
Table and dessert wines and also high quality light pink juice are made of Gulabi.
Good to eat while fresh and for storage as well.
Productivity is medium or high. It changes according to the rate of the fertility of the soil and correct application of agricultural technology.
