Sultani is one of rare sorts with thick furry leaves. It's cultivated mainly in Uzbekistan and in neighboring countries.
It has been developed in winemaking and winegrowing experimental stations of Ganja in Azerbaijan and "Ingilab” sovkhoz
of Khachmaz region.
The bushes are strong.
Flowers get pollinated by themselves. Clusters are big,
cone-shaped, short padded, and thick. Seeds are big, greenish-white
and yellow in the sun. Skin is thick and rough. Languid is firm
and crunchy.
Sultani is typical late ripening table sort. It has high
productivity. Seeds crack when there is little wetness in the soil and
air.
It contains 16-20 percent of sugar.
