This sort is popular with names Pink Lidiyda, Pink Izabella and Red Izabella too.
According to P.Viala, it is selected from seeds of Labrushka V. In 1907, it was brought to the Ukraine. In 1961, the sort was
brought to Tartar region from Kakhovka (Ukraine) and in 1991 to Ganja Grape-trading LTD. At the moment, about 15
bushes are planted in that vinyard. But as it is seen from scientific sources, it was brought to Azerbaijan in XIX century, and
in 1912, it was taken to Russia for planting. The place of planting isn't shown.
This sort is cultivated in great majority of countries.
It grows rapidly. Flowers are self-pollinated. Clusters are tiny, of
medium bigness, cylindrical, cylindrical cone shaped,
winged, sometimes dense. Seed stalk is tender, gentle, easily broken.
Seeds are of medium bigness, round, dark-red, brown
red in the middle part, when bush is weak it grows weak red in the green
background, and there is purple wax layer over it.
Languid is mucous. It has strawberry taste, the quantity of sugar and
acidity is in harmony. It is middle late ripening. It has
got a great ability of sugar gathering. It is useful for making wines of
portvein type. In Ukraine, they produce portvein Lidiya of this type.
