It is Azerbaijan's local clone. It was obtained by means of natural pollination of wild grapes in the forests of Hamshara River in Jalilabad district and was grown by local population. It grew in the villages of Jalilabad region. Hamshara clone is grown only in few regions. In the 60-70s of the last century in Jalilabad 30-40 percent of this grape plants consisted of this clone. Bushes grow fast. Flowers are self-pollinated. Clusters are large, round, reddish black and covered with thin layer of wax. Skin is thick, not strong, languid is tough and flesh is crunchy. Taste is pleasant, sweet and harmonious. Juice is thick, not so colored, reddish pink. It is an early ripening vine clone. This clone is good for producing red table wine and dessert wine of kagor type.
